Space: The final frontier
These were the voyages of the Starship, Audacious
Its 10 year mission
To protect the Federation
To seek out injustice and right the wrongs of evil beings.
To boldly go where where angels fear to tread.

Thirteen years ago she began as an idea, a plan, a dream.
I wanted to create a place where friends could meet and socialize.
To share a common interest in Star Trek and Role Playing.
What better place than a ship of our own?
And so she began…
and thrived…
We met friends and started relationships.
We shared our happy times and our sad.
We survived devastating losses, both personal and in game,
And we did it with the support and love of the friends we’d gained.
The Audacious is a part of each and every crewman that has ever served aboard her decks.
We each have fond memories of stories and adventures involving our characters,
And those memories will never die.
But as with all things, there comes a beginning and an end.
We’ve had a long run,
It’s had its ups and downs, goods and bads.
To each and every friend that has been here, I salute you.
I thank the cosmic powers that brought us together
And leave you with one final thought…
Though the Audacious may have said her final goodbyes and
Sailed off in to the star filled galaxy to her final resting place,
Another will come to fill the emptiness.
None can replace the USS Audacious, but in our hearts, she will always live on.
Here's to her BRILLIANT CREW! Without you she would NEVER be!
Gene Roddenberry, Donald E. Murphy, Carrie Ives, Philip Ives, Darren Cass, Melissa Lee, Eric Hartford, Kris Adkinson, Kurt Johnsen, Mary T. Boozer, Donald T. Yglesias, Rachael, Bruce Green, Diane Finnegan, Wayne Kelley, Gino DeNeef, James Eubanks, Steve Bankmore, Tolliver, Beckie Triano, Eric Moran, Kurt Loether, Patrick Stein, Hassan, Melanie Pearson, Rick Berman, Michael Piller, Ira Steven Behr, Ronald D. Moore, Brendon Braga, Matt Jeffereies, Andrew Probert, Rick Steinbach, John Eaves, Herman Zimmerman, Michael Okuda, Stuart Baldwin, mark Schmadeke, Steve Smith.
I was introduced to the Audi by my best friend, Carrie, and met Donald in the game. He has proved to be a true friend and I appreciate all he has done for me.
Bye Audi, you will be missed, Thank you for all the people you brought into my life and the hours and hours of enjoyment and entertainment you gave everyone.
This is a sad day.

There are good ships,
and there are Star ships,
The ships that sail the Stars.
But the best ships, are friendships,
And may they always be.
That's what the Audi Brought to us Friendships and comradery and may we never loose touch with that and those who have touched us

Sadly missed :"It was the best of times was worst of times." taken from a quote. I loved roleplaying on the Audi. It made me feel welcome. And now it will be sadly missed thanks all my new trek friends let's look to the stars? Who knows? Here's hoping she might come back like the enterprise! You can't keep a good ship and crew down that's what we were.

I was introduced to the Aggressor class USS Audacious (NCC–60650) by Eric Moran (Captain Eric Moran Gerico) four years ago this month while working on a film project together. Soon after I signed on to the Audi and got to know her creator and crew as I helped organize and administer the website. Working on the technical manual and writing for a couple episodes I grew even fonder of such a fine vessel and the souls she carried within that gave her life. Though the English proverb is true that “all good things must come to an end” it still saddens me to see her go. I wish all my best to the Audacious and her crew, good luck and Godspeed.
“It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.”

Peace and long life,

I stumbled across the Audi by accident, when I was doing research for a Star Trek RP game. I never even heard of Forum based RP before. What I found when I joined the Audi team…more than just a few friends that I talked Trek with or met up with every once in a while…I met a Family. I am extremely proud that I was given the distinct honor of Meeting everyone I met through this ship. This Ship became a part of me and I wanted it to become even more real, so I undertook writing the technical manual. I was blown away by the rich history and detail of this ship, how welcomed I was by the crew, how much blood sweat and tears went into her. It breaks my heart to finally see her going down after seeing how many times she was reborn. I love the audi as well as her crew and am extremely overjoyed that I can call her crew members family. They have been an intricate part of my life for several years and I know for a fact that even though the Audi is gone the people I met through her will always be in my life from now on and I am extremely grateful for that. As long as we are together the U.S.S. Audacious will never be truly gone.
